About Coiba Island Tours

We are a local tour company in Santa Catalina, the closest mainland town to Coiba National Park. We take travelers to snorkel, explore the islands and, in season, watch humpback whales.

Our team

Our guides are certified by the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) and speak English and Spanish. Our captains are certified and know the currents, reefs and anchorages of the national park.

We know these islands from years on the water, and we love sharing them: the best snorkel spots for the day's conditions, the stories of the old penal colony and the small details that are easy to miss.

How we work

Safety first

Certified captains, life jackets for everyone and a safety briefing before we leave. If the sea isn't safe, we don't go out: we reschedule your tour.

Respect for the park

We don't touch coral or wildlife, we ask our guests to use reef-safe sunscreen and we follow the national park's rules so Coiba stays as wild as it is today.

Local people, local knowledge

We live in Santa Catalina and work with people from the area. We want every visitor to leave knowing more about Coiba and the communities around it.
